Description

Liljaskolan is seeking a vocational teacher to instruct students in the Forestry track of the Natural Resources program, as well as in the adult education program for forest machine operators.

Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher involves planning, conducting, and evaluating your teaching within the forestry education, both theoretically and practically. Depending on your competence and experience, courses may include forest care, forest production, nature conservation, motor and brush cutter operation, as well as forest machinery such as forwarders and harvesters.

Standard duties such as mentoring, team collaboration, and participation in systematic quality work are also part of the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, inspiring, and knowledgeable within the industry. Experience in the teaching profession is preferred, and you should wish to become part of our team.

A teaching license is desirable. Experience from other work with young people is an advantage.

Personal suitability is highly valued.

Conditions

The position is a permanent 100% role upon presentation of a teaching license. Otherwise, it is a fixed-term appointment as an unlicensed teacher at 100% during the academic year 2026/2027. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
