We are currently looking for positive and enthusiastic water fitness instructors for our swimming facility, Navet, located in central Umeå.

At Navet, we offer varied water fitness in different forms suitable for everyone. Navet is one of Sweden's largest water fitness facilities and features many unique classes, such as AquaRide (specially designed bikes that can be used in water) and Aqua Gymstick (combines weight plates and resistance bands).

Your Responsibilities

The role of a water fitness instructor involves leading, inspiring, and instructing our members in a pedagogical and safe manner. You will stay updated with new training methods and constantly strive to develop in your role as a group fitness instructor. You are expected to prepare for your classes and participate in the training provided. We are looking for someone who can lead 1–2 fixed classes per week, during day and evening hours, starting from September 1st.

Heavy lifting may occur at the workplace.

About You

We are looking for someone who wants to become part of our cheerful instructor team and is passionate about motivating others to be physically active. You are driven, responsible, and self-motivated. You love challenges and development, and as a water fitness instructor at Navet, you will have the opportunity for exactly that. Personal suitability is of great importance.

We prefer that you have swimming skills and lifesaving qualifications. Previous experience leading and instructing group fitness classes and CPR certification are desirable but not mandatory. If you lack formal training but are the right person for the role, we will train you in the various fitness forms.

Currently, we are looking for individuals who can lead the following classes:

• Aqua
• Aqua Yoga
• AquaRide
• Aqua Power
• Aroma Yoga (hot yoga) – performed in a sauna
• Aqua Gymstick
• Crawl and leisure swimming

Other Information

• Three positions as fixed-term part-time employment, with varying degrees of employment between 10–30%.
• Start date from 2026-09-01 or as agreed, ending on 2027-06-06.
• Scheduled working hours during days, evenings, and weekends.
• In accordance with the Act on Suitability Control, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented upon employment.
