Linblomman School is an F–6 school located four kilometers southwest of Umeå city center. A school that is just the right size to make new friends, and small enough so that every student is seen! With us, digital tools are a natural part of the work. We also have our own cooking kitchen with a high proportion of organic ingredients and access to one of Umeå's most modern sports halls.

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for our incoming Year 2 class!

Your responsibilities

You will be one of two lead teachers in the class, working together to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching. The work team also includes two resource persons attached to the student group, with the aim of creating conditions for collaboration and support in daily work.

The role involves teaching and documentation carried out in close cooperation with the rest of the class team. Together, you will work to create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop as much as possible.

About you

We are looking for you who are structured, well-planned, and have a good ability to create safe and inclusive student groups where every student is given the prerequisites to develop. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, contribute actively to the common work, and see the value of creating a positive and developmental learning environment together. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Teacher education with eligibility for current year levels 1–3
• Have or have applied for teacher certification
• Valid extract from the criminal record register
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
