Student Assistant in Adapted Primary School

Our operations are growing. We are now looking for a student assistant who wants to work in adapted primary school.

Description of the School

Vegaskolan is located in central Vännäs. The school has approximately 500 students from preschool class to grade 6, as well as adapted primary school up to grade 9. In the Adapted Primary School, students receive education and instruction tailored to their individual needs and prerequisites. The guiding principles of Vegaskolan are knowledge, community, and diversity.

Your Responsibilities

You will work as a student assistant in the adapted primary school. You will be part of a work team with close collaboration with other educators at the school. You will be involved and contribute to the development of the students and the operations. As a student assistant, you will support some students in a class in the adapted primary school with their education, social relationships, and care. In the afternoons, you will be part of and contribute to the adapted primary school's after-school program.

Qualifications

Trained childcare worker or other pedagogical education deemed suitable for the assignment.

• We are looking for both permanent and fixed-term positions at 80%.

The starting salary for a trained student assistant with no or little work experience is 26,600 SEK/full-time. Vännäs Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
