ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a substitute teacher for Furuviksskolan in Lycksele.

Furuviksskolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 140 students. The school is located near forests and nature, where many lessons and theme days are held. We have a sports hall, ice rink, football field, and ski tracks nearby, which are used by both the school and the after-school center. Many students spend their after-school time at the after-school center Flamman, which is located in its own premises close to the school. At the after-school center, students have great opportunities to influence content and activities. The school and the after-school center work closely together with the students in focus.

As a teacher with us, you have overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the pedagogical activities based on the current curriculum.

At our primary schools, we work according to the agreement Appendix 6, which means that workplace-based time is 40 hours + 5 hours of trust time each week.

The job requires that you have good cooperation skills and a good attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You can lead and organize the work so that a safe learning environment is created and have high expectations of both yourself, students, and colleagues. You have structure and order in your way of working and have the ability to work independently, while also being able to adapt and prioritize work according to current conditions when necessary. You are a person who sees opportunities instead of obstacles and wants to work with us to develop the school.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Fixed-term employment until October 31, 2027, with possible extension.

Scope: 100%

Start date: 2026-10-12 or by agreement.
