ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for qualified teachers in mathematics and physical education for the Resource School (Resursskolan) grades 4-9 in Lycksele.

The Resource School has space for 20 students in grades 4-9, where you will work together in a team with teachers and social pedagogues. The positions involve teaching in small groups in standard school subjects, although individual teaching may also occur. The goal is for students at the Resource School to achieve passing grades in grade nine. The goal is also to prepare students for upper secondary school and, when possible, to participate in regular class teaching. The Resource School is located in its own facilities at Johan Skyttes. You will be part of a work team for consultation and planning. The role also includes mentoring some students, and you will have close collaboration with students and guardians.

The work team meets regularly in team meetings, for competence development, and student health meetings. Here, teachers have the opportunity to meet regularly by subject in sector meetings, and we hold joint workplace meetings every month. The Resource School collaborates with the municipality's secondary school, Finnbacksskolan, primarily regarding sector work, as well as with the school's special education group. We work in close collaboration with the student health services to ensure that our students are well and feel safe at school. Together, we build for the future through collaboration, education, and new technology.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in the earlier or later years of primary school, primarily in mathematics and physical education. Experience working with students with special needs is meritorious. It is an additional advantage if you have knowledge of special pedagogy. We will match the positions so that we cover as many school subjects as possible in this recruitment. We have close collaboration with Finnbacksskolan so that we can have qualified teachers in all subjects.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Temporary position for the school year 2026/27.

Scope: 100% or according to agreement (the work team follows Appendix 6).

Start date: 2026-08-10
