The Workplace

Nordmaling Municipality has primary schools in central Nordmaling as well as in the villages of Lögdeå and Gräsmyr. The municipality's schools are at the forefront regarding everything from IT to student health services. We are developing the future for both society and the individual.

Artediskolan F-3 has 210 students and is centrally located in Nordmaling. Our guiding principles are respect, justice, empathy, and knowledge. Artediskolan F-3 offers engaged and knowledgeable colleagues as well as proximity to nature and open outdoor environments.

The Role and Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades F–3, you are responsible for teaching and students' knowledge development in the early school years.

The work includes among other things:

• Class responsibility.
• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum.
• Work with basic skills.
• Assess and document students' knowledge, conduct development talks, and write reports.
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes students' social and academic development.
• Adapt teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites.
• Contact with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.
• Participate in the school's development work and meetings.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a qualified F-3 teacher. Teacher certification is a requirement.

Previous experience working in F-3 is meritorious, as is experience working in teams.

Important qualities for this role are flexibility, teamwork skills, and the ability to build good relationships with others. You should be able to work independently but also have a strong ability to collaborate with others. We expect you to contribute ideas and be actively involved in developing the operations in a positive direction. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
