We are not looking for the perfect teacher. We are looking for you, who has experience from the transport industry and wants to share your knowledge with the next generation of professional drivers.

With us, you will work closely with students and participants at various stages of their education. You will follow their development from the first practical exercises to increased confidence and independence in their professional roles. Together with colleagues and the working life, you will create an education that is relevant, practical, and grounded in reality.

The vacancy is a substitute position for a holiday period and covers the period from August 7, 2026, to June 17, 2027.

YOUR ROLE

As a vocational teacher within the transport sector, you will work both within adult education and at the Transport Program at Anderstorpsgymnasiet. The position is divided with approximately 80% teaching within adult education for aspiring professional drivers and 20% teaching at the high school's Transport Program for students in grades 2 and 3.

You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in both practical and theoretical modules. With your industry experience, you help students and participants understand how theory and practice connect and what demands and expectations await them in working life.

You guide and support participants in their learning, provide feedback, and adapt the teaching based on different prerequisites and needs. An important part of the assignment is also the collaboration with working life regarding APL (Work Integrated Learning) and other industry contacts, where you contribute to creating good conditions for learning and future establishment in the profession.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for you who has several years of experience working as a professional driver and wants to use your knowledge to help others develop in the profession. Whether you have considered the teaching profession before or not, we believe your experience from the industry can make a big difference for our students and participants.

To be considered for the role, you need to have:

• A valid CE driver's license
• A high school education with a relevant vocational focus, such as transport, vehicles, or logistics, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Basic digital competence

It is an advantage if you have experience supervising students, apprentices, interns, or new employees. If you have a teaching license, pedagogical education, or previous teaching experience, we also see this as a plus.

Additional qualifications and training within the transport sector, such as forklift licenses, operator certificates for wheel loaders or truck-mounted cranes, and knowledge within YKB (Competence-based driving education), are advantageous.

As a person, you are secure, responsible, and structured. You have an easy time building good relationships, thrive in collaborations, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experiences with others.

Your workplace is at Plåtvägen 10, Hammarängen, where parts of Anderstorpsgymnasiet's vocational and adult education programs are conducted.
