Löftet-Umedalen is an independent preschool located in a sculpture park with a beautiful natural setting and a large outdoor playground. The preschool has 40 places distributed across three departments: Fröet (1–2 years), Knoppen (2–5 years), and Blomman (4–5 years). We have a Christian profile, and our guiding principles for the operation are security, lifelong learning, hope for the future, and the unique value of every individual. Our activities are based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools, Lpfö 18 (revised 2025), which emphasizes that every child should develop their curiosity, desire, and ability to play and learn. At Löftet, we look at the whole person, where care, development, and learning form a unity. We see all children as competent and want them to reside in an environment that is permissive, challenging, and inspiring. Our environment and operations are adapted to the children's ages, where the environment should stimulate the child's joy of discovery. About you:

You are a qualified preschool teacher and well-versed in the preschool's governing documents. You are positive and have the ability to build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are open to new ideas and others' thoughts but can also be confident in making your own decisions when needed. You have pedagogical skills with the clear purpose of creating a learning, joyful, and developmental play/learning environment. You have a positive outlook on life and see opportunities rather than obstacles.

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher and well-versed in the preschool's governing documents, planning and documenting operations based on these. The governing documents are the foundation, and from there, you choose methods, content, and interactions based on each child's specific conditions. As a preschool teacher, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for the development of the operation by planning, implementing, reflecting, and following up on the work. We think it is important that we have fun together, and we do.
