Ersängsskolan is located in Östra Ersboda and is a multicultural preschool to grade 9 school. There are approximately 400 students in total at the school. It also includes a special needs school focusing on subjects for grades 1–6, as well as resource classes for the entire municipality. We have one of Sweden's best school libraries, and nearby you will find a football field and an adventure playground.

We are now looking for a Special Needs Teacher!

Employment Information

The position is a full-time temporary assignment, from 2026-08-10 to 2026-12-18.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with student health services within the framework of the student health team. You are responsible for documentation related to students' needs and support. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with teaching staff and maintain contact with guardians. Another task that may occur in the role is mentoring educators.

About You

As a person, you are flexible, clear, and structured. You enjoy working with children who need special support, as you are a very important part of their school day. Based on your profession, you have good knowledge of students' development and learning, and you can identify and work based on individual needs at the organizational, group, and individual levels. You have good collaboration skills, are receptive, and find it easy to communicate and collaborate with students and other key professional groups for the target group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Education as a Special Needs Teacher with eligibility for primary school
• Experience in pedagogical work at the primary school level
• Has/have applied for teacher certification
• Valid extract from the criminal record register, in accordance with the Act on Suitability Control
• Unimpeded knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English

Merits
