The Workplace

Artediskolan 7-9 is a school with approximately 200 students located in central Nordmaling. Together with our educated colleagues, we work to create the best possible conditions for student learning.

Artediskolan 7-9 is a three-track lower secondary school with facilities well-adapted for teaching. The school is located near sports facilities, municipal meeting spaces, the library, and nature. The school has a well-developed collaboration with the local business community in Nordmaling and other partners.

The Role and Responsibilities

In your role as a subject teacher in French, you will, in collaboration with the rest of the staff, be responsible for and develop pedagogical learning. We therefore want you to be a driving and inspiring team player who can see how small changes can lead to the development of teaching at the lower secondary level. We have purpose-built facilities in the school, both outside and inside the classrooms, as well as access to a swimming hall, sports hall, and beautiful forest areas.

Among other things, you will:

• Plan and lead French instruction.
• Collaborate with subject colleagues who teach other modern languages.
• Continuously follow up on and assess students' knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to promote students' development.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a lower secondary teacher's degree for teaching French with eligibility up to grade 9.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with children and young people of different ages, as well as experience leading activities such as choir, planning school graduations, Lucia processions, etc.

We are looking for you who have a relational approach to your students and have a genuine interest in student learning. You are a clear leader with good foresight and structure, and you have good communication skills with students, guardians, and employees. You take responsibility and are independent in your work, flexible, and have an interest in developing the team's joint work.

The Employment

Fixed-term employment, 20%. Start date 2026-08-10 until 2026-12-20.
