We are now looking for a teacher in Science/Technology and Mathematics at Björkskolan in Skellefteå, for grades 7–9. You can also apply to work as a subject teacher in either Mathematics or Science. The position is a temporary assignment during the autumn term of 2026, with the possibility of extension. The position covers approximately 50% of a full-time role, with the option to increase the workload.

The responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting teaching.
• Acting as a mentor together with a colleague.
• Participating in work teams.

Qualifications

• You are qualified to teach Science, Technology, or Mathematics.
• You share Skolföreningen Växa's values and vision.

A Creative School

Each term, Björkskolan hosts 3–4 "Växa Workshops." This involves an afternoon of creative work where, as a teacher, you can use your skills and interests to help students grow in creativity and share your knowledge, which extends beyond textbooks and the classroom.
