Fredriksdalsskolan is a school with approximately 330 students. Fredriksdalsskolan – the school of opportunities. For us, the school is an important and meaningful place for both students and staff. Job Responsibilities

Your main task is to challenge the student in their learning and support their knowledge development towards set goals, together with colleagues in work teams and subject groups. In addition to planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching, you will work with colleagues in work teams and subject groups to develop the school based on prioritized development areas.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach crafts (slöjd) in grades 7–9.

We are looking for someone who is well acquainted with the subject's purpose, skills, and knowledge requirements and is well versed in the school's view of knowledge and value-based mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

We would appreciate it if you were interested in and had experience with language-developing methods in a multilingual classroom. You have the ability to motivate and create learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student individually and build on what works.

You see opportunities in cross-curricular work in collaboration with others. Your learning through collegial learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a great commitment in the classroom and take significant responsibility in your work.

You have a very good ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We would appreciate it if you dare to think and try new things together with others.

Permanent position, 100%, starting in August 2026.

We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For this position, the monthly salary is between 38,000 and 44,000 SEK, depending on experience, education, and competence.

Extract from the Police Register

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the police register for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
