Göteborgs Tekniska College is a competence-driven education company dedicated to strengthening skills in technology and industry for both young people and adults. The company is owned by Volvo Group and Volvo Cars together with the City of Gothenburg, creating a unique collaboration. Our mission is to develop and create educational programs in close cooperation with the industry. All profits are reinvested into the business.

The company operates within four areas: Upper Secondary Youth Education (GTG), University College Vocational Education (YH), National Vocational Education (NY), as well as industry-developing projects and corporate training. We serve as a strategic competence center for Teknik College.

We are currently looking for dedicated teachers and trainers in:

• Operations and Maintenance Technology
• Electrical Engineering – particularly high voltage/current, but also electronics and automotive electronics
• Automation

About the Job

You will teach both young people and adults. You will plan and develop courses, mentor students, and collaborate within subject groups. We are looking for someone who:

• Is confident in their subject matter expertise
• Has good computer skills and communication abilities
• Thrives in both independent work and team settings
• Has experience or education in the relevant field
• Has prior experience from the industry (preferred)
• Teaching qualifications are meritorious but not required.

Employment

Scope: 100%.

We adhere to the Technical Agreement, which includes a 40-hour work week, flexible working hours, reduced working hours, and five weeks of vacation. Individual salary setting applies.
