At Hölöskolan, we are looking for a Spanish teacher at 50% for grades 6–9. You will be part of a work team where, together with other teachers, you will take responsibility for and develop classroom work with the aim of maximizing learning for our students. You will be responsible for teaching, evaluation, and development of this, as well as documentation. At Hölöskolan, study environment and security are prioritized development areas, and we strongly value the school's lesson structure. Other prioritized areas are attendance follow-up and language-developing, cross-curricular working methods. Structured collegial work aimed at improving teaching is successfully driven by our lead teachers.
Your responsibilities
You are a clear leader in the classroom while creating a secure learning environment for the students. You are responsive, meet students based on their prerequisites, and create positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You take responsibility for and have insight into student results, which means you are responsive to each student's prerequisites and needs. You have learning in focus and see a connection between your students' results and your teaching. You assess students' knowledge based on the criteria in Lgr 22 and have an open dialogue with management and student health services regarding students in need of extra support. Being curious, positive, and engaged to contribute to increased learning generally for our students through active participation in meetings, conferences, and gatherings is also part of your role. Mentorship is included in your assignment.

At Hölöskolan, we conduct systematic quality work focused on accessible learning environments, attendance, and operationally close student health services. In order to develop teaching, and thus learning, at the school, our lead teachers conduct collegial work in the area. Time is therefore given to both reading current research as well as reflection and analysis of one's own teaching, as we consider this to be of great importance.
Hölöskolan is a municipal school located beautifully with nature close by in a very quiet and rural area in Södertälje Municipality. We are a two-stream F–9 school, and approximately 55 people work here with our 420 students. There is a municipal library in the school that has just been renovated and is fantastic. The library is open to students in the mornings and to the general public in the afternoons. We also have a library pedagogue who, among other things, has created fantastic podcasts with our students this school year. Adjacent to the school are sports facilities, football fields, outdoor gyms, and jogging trails. We have a cooking kitchen that prepares good and nutritious food every day. Approximately 80% of the food is locally grown or organic.
