Description
Utbyskolan is a resource school for grades 1–9 with 33 students, accepting only those in need of extensive and long-term special support. The students at the resource school follow the same curriculum and time plan as other students in primary school. We are careful to ensure that all students are everyone's students, and we actively work to create safety and a love for learning for all.
At our resource school, we work with smaller student groups and more staff, providing greater opportunities for individual adjustments in teaching and the learning environment. We create inclusive teaching and a school environment adapted for students who have the greatest need for it. Since Utbyskolan lacks a gymnasium, students travel with our leased cars to nearby halls together with physical education teachers and youth leaders. The school is located in nature in Utby. "The Forest in the School" is part of our pedagogy, where students receive outdoor education connected to the right of public access, nature, environment, and practical learning.
At Utbyskolan, we work on students' language development throughout the day and in all learning environments. We strive for a democratic community where all students are involved, an environment where students have great opportunities to develop and learn, and where differences are seen as an asset. We place great emphasis on developing teaching and therefore focus on competence development, collegial learning, and joint planning for most of our shared time.

We are looking for you who want to work in a team and share the school's idea that we are better together than each one individually.
We are looking for you who have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their prerequisites. You build good relationships with both students and guardians, built on trust and respect. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you follow up and evaluate the quality of the leisure time center.
