About the operations:

Bällstabergsskolan is a two-parallel F–9 school in southern Vallentuna, close to the Roslagsbanan railway. It is a safe and well-functioning school where both students and staff thrive. Students are given good conditions to develop both academically and socially. Our operations are characterized by dedicated and competent teachers, leisure staff, and student health services who work together to ensure that every student reaches their full potential. The school has functional premises, and each department has its own cafeteria, creating a calm and pleasant environment.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dedicated and certified teacher with qualifications to teach mathematics, science, and technology for grades 4–6. If you have qualifications in additional subjects, we consider this an asset. You will become a mentor for a grade 4 class. As a teacher with us, you plan, implement, and develop teaching based on the curriculum's goals and the students' needs. Through varied working methods, laboratory work, and problem-solving, you awaken students' curiosity and strengthen their understanding of mathematics, science, and technology.

You will become part of a dedicated working group for grades 4–6 with competent and experienced colleagues. We value collaboration, collegial learning, and an open work climate where we together develop teaching and create the best conditions for our students' learning. You create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment with high expectations for all students. With clear pedagogical leadership, you build good relationships, adapt teaching to students' different needs, and inspire them to curiosity, motivation, and a desire to learn. Together with colleagues, you actively contribute to the school's continued development.

Qualifications:

• Certified teacher with qualifications in Math/Science for grades 4-6.
• Good digital competence.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Advantageous with qualifications in technology and/or broad experience in other subjects for grades 4-6.
