Teacher in Natural Sciences (NO) at Vittra Östertälje

Vittra Östertälje is located on the outskirts of Östertälje, in Södertälje Municipality. The school is situated next to forests and nature areas, and we have access to an outdoor gym, artificial turf fields, a jogging track, a sports hall, and the Sörmland Trail directly adjacent to the school. Our premises are bright and fresh.

At Vittra, you always belong to a work team where you and your colleagues plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching together with the students. Collaboration within the work team is a crucial factor in creating teaching and a learning environment that suits all students regardless of prior experience.

At Vittra Östertälje, we have a competent and engaged student health team with all functions: special needs teachers, special educators, school nurses, school doctors, counselors, career guidance counselors (SYV), and school psychologists. Close collaboration between the work team and the student health team, with the student at the center, is a given for us.

We have high expectations of ourselves and our joint work, which is based on collegial learning and the individual needs of students. Together, we build a safe and challenging environment where everyone is to develop, both students and adults.

The proportion of qualified and certified educators is very high at Vittra Östertälje. The work teams are composed based on the educators' competence and qualifications and are led by team leaders.

We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified teacher in all subjects within Natural Sciences (NO) for grades 7-9. We would like you to be experienced and confident in your role as an educator.

We want you to be a clear leader and have the student's goal achievement in focus. We want you to be a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities.
