Who are we?

Råsslaskolan is a well-functioning school for grades 4–9, located in a beautiful natural setting in Kolmården, just outside Norrköping, with good train and bus connections. Here at the school, 510 students and 40 teachers work together with the rest of the school staff to create a secure environment that encourages learning.

We are organized into year-level teams and divided into a middle school (grades 4–6) and a lower secondary school (grades 7–9). These stages collaborate very closely as a single unit regarding prioritized goals, educational initiatives, support structures, pedagogical forums, subject meetings, and exchanges between teams.

The school is led by the principal together with the deputy principal. In the academic year 2025/2026, approximately 90% of our ninth-grade students were eligible for upper secondary school.

We are now looking for an engaged PE teacher who wants to help develop our operations and contribute to our students' knowledge development and sense of security. The school grounds include a full-size indoor sports hall and a swimming pool. Large outdoor areas surround the school, providing excellent opportunities for the subject and for you as a teacher.

Your responsibilities

As a PE teacher, you are responsible for teaching and planning in your subject. The position includes teaching in grade 5 and grade 8.

You will monitor students' development and goal achievement in collaboration with the team and the school's student health team.

You will serve as a mentor and be part of the team working with grade 8.

You will actively participate in various joint tasks for the school and the team, contributing your own ideas, experience, and engagement.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualification to teach Physical Education.

You have experience in teaching and good subject knowledge. We would appreciate it if you had experience with and good knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD).

You see school development as a natural part of your work and feel confident in your role as a teacher. You have a desire to develop professionally, are well-versed in steering documents, and have experience working with digital tools.

You are a clear leader and have an easy time building good relationships and trust with guardians, students, and colleagues.

You are calm and stable and have a flexible working style where you adapt easily to changed circumstances and take great responsibility for your tasks.

You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied manner, and to develop these in collaboration with the student.
