Your responsibilities
As a special needs teacher at Parkskolan, you play a central role in the school's work to create accessible learning environments and provide students with the right support at the right time. Your work focuses on strengthening students' knowledge development and creating conditions for all students to succeed in their schooling.
You work closely with teachers, student welfare services, and school management to identify and analyze student needs at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Based on this, you plan, implement, and follow up on special educational interventions. You are responsible for teaching students in need of special support, conducting assessments and evaluations, and providing guidance and consultation to colleagues regarding extra adaptations and special support.
The role also includes participating in the school's student welfare team and contributing to preventive and promotional work. Through your competence, you are an important part of the school's development work and actively work to create teaching that meets the needs of all students.

You have good knowledge of how the significance of language for learning can be made visible in teaching and how different interventions can contribute to strengthening students' opportunities to reach their goals.
