Kunskapsskolan Motala is looking for teachers in Swedish, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology for grades 4-6 or 4-9, 100%

Kunskapsskolan in Sweden operates primary and upper secondary schools under the names Kunskapsskolan and Kunskapsgymnasiet. The first Kunskapsskolan schools were established in 2000, and today, over 14,500 students attend the 30 primary schools and 5 upper secondary schools.

Kunskapsskolan Motala is a primary school for grades 4-9 with approximately 280 students. The school is located in the Luxor area in a former industrial premises, renovated into a school well-adapted to our working methods.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pedagogy that is personally designed and based on the individual. Through our working method, we create close relationships between teachers and students, which provides the conditions for every student to achieve further than they themselves believe is possible. In an environment where the student can be themselves and receives the right support and challenges, we create a school where both students and employees thrive and develop.

The pedagogy at Kunskapsskolan is based on close cooperation between staff and students. In addition to your role as a subject teacher, you have a special responsibility as a personal mentor for a group of students. This involves conducting weekly mentoring sessions where you support the student in planning, setting goals, and evaluating their studies. You act as the link between the school and home and are responsible for following up on the student's development together with the guardians.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a strong team spirit. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in working groups and subject teams. There is great openness between teachers, and we share a common responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and allow you to focus your time on the students, we have collected a large part of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified in the subjects. You should be well-versed in LGR-22 and formative assessment.

Desirable qualifications

We would appreciate it if you have a few years of experience in teaching and mentoring or coaching. We want you to find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians, and to be solution-focused.

We place great value on your commitment, your pedagogical competence, and your mentoring skills. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can create trust among the students.

Employment type: The position is a permanent employment.
