Fruängens School is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with 600 students in regular and adapted primary education. The school is located adjacent to Fruängen Center, with easy access to good public transportation – subway and bus. The area is characterized by housing from the 1950s and 60s, but new residential areas have also been added in recent years.

The school consists of six buildings surrounding a large schoolyard with pines and large areas for play and movement. The classrooms are modern and offer an stimulating environment.

We are approximately 100 employees with long collective experience and high competence, and a strong interest in developing our joint work.

Your role

We are looking for a teacher who will teach Spanish as a modern language in grades 7-9. You will work in parallel with a colleague in the same subject, and you can plan the teaching together in language choice groups.

You are part of a work team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• are a certified teacher with qualifications in Spanish as a modern language
• have documented experience in the teaching profession
• have experience with digital working methods as an enhancement in teaching
• have qualifications in additional subjects in primary school (meritorious)

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created. You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for cooperation and create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role in an effective way.
