This is a fixed-term full-time position starting in August and ending in June 2027.

Your Role

As a teacher of Swedish and German, you will teach students in grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching in your subjects based on the national curriculum. You adapt the teaching to meet the students' needs, interests, and prerequisites. You monitor, assess, grade, and document students' knowledge development. The role includes shared homeroom teacher responsibility for a secondary school class. To create good conditions for the students, you work closely with other teachers, school leadership, and the student health team.

The role involves close collaboration in both work teams and subject teams, where you together have great freedom to shape and develop the teaching. You collaborate regarding students, planning, assessment, grading, pedagogical development work, and systematic quality work.

We value the use of physical learning materials as an important complement in teaching and expect you to work actively with this in your subjects.

Your Experience

For this position, you must have:

• Teacher certification with subject competence for grades 7-9 in Swedish and German
• Good digital competence
• Very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

The following are meritorious:

• Experience working as a teacher in Swedish and German
• Experience teaching secondary school students
• Subject competence for grades 7-9 in subjects other than Swedish and German
• Experience working with physical learning materials in teaching.
