Do you want to contribute to students' language and knowledge development? We are now looking for a mother tongue teacher in Romani Chib who wants to strengthen students' identity and linguistic competence!

What does the job involve?

As a mother tongue teacher, you teach students in Romani Chib based on the current curriculum. Your work includes planning, implementation, and follow-up of the teaching you conduct, with a focus on developing students' mother tongue and supporting their knowledge development. You collaborate closely with the school's other staff, guardians, and are part of a pedagogical working group together with other mother tongue teachers. At our school, we work to ensure that all students reach their full potential! We also participate in networks across the county to develop teaching, with the student in focus.

The assignment covers mother tongue instruction at municipal primary schools in Solna.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who:

• fluent in Romani Chib (Lovara, Kalderash)
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language. A minimum of SAS 2 is required as the work involves daily contact with Swedish-speaking colleagues, documentation, and administrative tasks.

We consider it a strong merit if you have experience working as a mother tongue teacher, even if you are a trained teacher.

We are looking for someone who is pedagogical and has a good understanding of how students acquire knowledge and people's different prerequisites. You communicate clearly and ensure that your message gets through. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can adapt to changed circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You make correct assessments and plan, organize, and prioritize the work in an effective manner.

The position is a fixed-term appointment with an extent between 5%. Commencement is by agreement and runs until 2026-06-10. If the ordered time for study guidance changes, the position may be terminated early.
