The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, leisure centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees across 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities

As a teacher, you are a crucial part of contributing to Botkyrka Municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop according to their unique abilities.

Your assignment involves conducting teaching and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up work, as well as grading. You are part of a work team and participate in the team's joint efforts. You contribute to a good learning environment through active collaboration in work groups, focusing on students' knowledge development. You also collaborate with other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's values-based work and promote inclusive practices. You strive to stay updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental scanning, further education, and collegial learning. Mentoring is a central part of your role, involving social contact with students and classes, communication with guardians, handling absences, development talks, and cooperation with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

As an employee, you act as an ambassador for the school by participating in open houses, fairs, etc.

Skogsbacksskolan is a grades F-9 school with approximately 450 students, including adapted primary school and special preschool.

As a teacher in Wood and Metal Craft (Trä- och Metallslöjd), you will teach students in grades 3–9.

A teacher education is required. We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Wood and Metal Craft.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to structure your work efficiently.
