Description of duties

As a teacher in the school's UF and entrepreneurship courses, and potentially another subject, you will plan and conduct teaching according to the curriculum. You will encourage students' creativity and knowledge building, and collaborate with other school staff to create a good work environment. You will be part of a team working closely together on Lundellska School's UF activities, where external contacts with organizations and companies are an important part.

The role involves contributing to the development of the school's learning environment together with students and other staff, actively participating in the school's pedagogical development work, and conducting adapted pedagogical activities based on both individual and group needs and prerequisites. The position also includes mentorship, and you will be part of the working group around the school's Economics Programme. Teaching may also take place on one of the school's other programs. This position starts at the beginning of the autumn term 2026.

Qualifications

You are a certified upper secondary school teacher with eligibility to teach UF entrepreneurship and have experience working with this type of teaching. If you have eligibility to teach another subject, such as economics, social studies, law, or another subject, this is considered an advantage.

You take initiative and launch activities that yield good results. As a person, you are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. You find it easy to establish contact with both students and colleagues. In your role, you are open to absorbing and seeing opportunities in new ideas, methods, and ways of working. You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a listening and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively.

In your work, you speak clearly, well-formulated, and with engagement in individual meetings as well as in small and large groups. You listen and adapt to the situation. With good pedagogical insight, you understand that students have different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge, and you adapt your teaching to the audience.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.
