Special Educator for Centralskolan in Tierp – Build the Future of Secondary School!

Are you a special educator and want to be part of building something new – for real? Then we warmly welcome you to Centralskolan in Tierp and our exciting development journey!

From the autumn term of 2025, Centralskolan became a dedicated grades 7–9 school with approximately 240 students, increasing by about 90 students this autumn. This means a clear focus on secondary education, subject depth, and relationship-building work in a school environment shaped with the best interests of students and teachers at the center. The school is centrally located in Tierp, with the train and bus station just around the corner – perfect for a smooth daily commute.

Centralskolan is part of a larger school area together with Tallbacksskolan in Månkarbo and Kyrkskolan in Kyrkbyn, both grades F–6. This gives us strong opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a consistent thread in the students' school journey.

Here you will meet dedicated, competent, and non-hierarchical colleagues who believe in collaboration, development, and solution-focused work. You will work in close collaboration with a well-developed student health team consisting of special needs pedagogues, special educators, counselors, school nurses, psychologists, social pedagogues, as well as study and career counselors – an invaluable support in the pedagogical mission.

We believe in trust, professional responsibility, and that good teaching is created together.

Welcome to a school where your engagement counts – and where the future secondary school takes shape.
