Valsätraskolan currently has 935 students and is located 4 km south of Uppsala city center. There are three parallel classes in the preschool class.

Description of Duties

Being a preschool class teacher means having pedagogical and social responsibility for a very crucial year in a child's school life. So much happens during the preschool class year, and the preschool class teacher, together with colleagues, is the engine driving this development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool class teacher. This can be through lower primary school teacher certification or preschool teacher certification. You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a listening and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve any conflicts constructively. As a person, you are outgoing and socially active in your work. You easily establish contact with students, guardians, and colleagues. With good pedagogical insight, you understand that students have different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge. In your teaching, you adapt your way of conveying messages to the recipient.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

In your application, you must state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.

Employment with Uppsala Municipality may entail being placed in a reserve position (krigsplacering).

Salary Type: Monthly salary.
Employment Type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
