Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala operates two small-scale schools: Internationella gymnasiet and Cultus gymnasium. The schools share premises, teachers, and school leadership, functioning largely as a single unit. Here, we offer the Social Science programme with specializations in Behaviour and Social Sciences. The programme has an international profile where global issues and study trips are a natural part of the education. We also offer the Healthcare and Care programme with a profile in Emergency Care, which includes collaborations with the rescue services and ambulance care.

The total student body for both schools is approximately 170 students, ensuring close contact between students and staff, short decision-making paths, and a strong collegial community. A cohesive teaching team works here, alongside a student health team representing all professions.

Folkuniversitetet is a non-profit foundation that, in addition to upper secondary education, conducts adult education and civic education. Responsibilities

We are now looking for a Mathematics teacher. The position is full-time (100%).

You will teach Mathematics 1-3 and at the compulsory school level for upper secondary students, serve as a class mentor, and perform other typical teacher duties. You will be part of a work team that continuously collaborates to develop and improve teaching. The school uses the platforms Schoolsoft and Google Classroom.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified Mathematics teacher. You are well-versed in the structure of upper secondary education and base your work on research and proven methods. As a person, you have the ability to meet every individual with passion and engagement, while also setting boundaries. You work in a structured manner, can adapt your teaching to students' individual needs, and possess strong communication skills. You build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Type of Employment
