Lillkyrka School – A Place for Learning and Community

Lillkyrka School is located in the picturesque area of Trögden, approximately 1.5 miles outside of Enköping. Our geographical location provides excellent conditions for utilizing the local environment for learning in various contexts. We consider it natural for parts of the teaching to take place outdoors. At Lillkyrka School, we have students from preschool class up to grade 6. We have approximately 150 students and about 20 staff members.

The staff is well-educated and shares competencies through collaboration in teaching teams. As a smaller school, we have a developing collegial exchange with joint meetings every week. The strengths of our staff group are high flexibility and a positive attitude towards changes that lead to higher goal achievement.

We strive for all students, staff, and guardians to feel a great sense of security and well-being with us. Since the school is not very large, an environment is created where everyone knows everyone.

Job Responsibilities

In close collaboration with colleagues, you plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work based on the school's steering documents.

In addition to the assignment in the leisure center (mornings, afternoons, and holidays), the job responsibilities also include providing support to students in their schoolwork, both individually and in groups. You remove obstacles for learning and contribute to creating a school that works for everyone. You should also be an active part of the school's recess activities.

You take active responsibility for creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Qualifications

To be the person we are looking for, you must have a positive, flexible, and solution-focused basic outlook. You are confident in yourself with good self-insight, are a team player, but also have the ability to work independently when the assignment requires it. You should find it fun to plan and create activities for and together with students.

As a person, you are engaged and have a great interest in each individual student's knowledge development and social development. You should find it easy to adapt to changed circumstances and see the opportunities in changes.

You can collaborate by creating good relationships with others, are receptive, and have the ability to put yourself in others' perspectives. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
