In our student health work, we start from what works, what prevents issues, and what promotes health, with the student's voice and participation at the center.

We have a structured quality work where set goals guide the work in both large and small processes. Goal setting, follow-up, and evaluation are a natural part of the work in grade teams and work groups. We have four lead teachers and three work group leaders who, together with all staff and school management, drive development forward with a focus on teaching.

Forssaängskolan is a partner school to Dalarna University, which means we host student teachers during their practicum (VFU). AIL students also work within the operation.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who enjoy working with people and can provide both care and support. You will work with students who need special support in their school day. You will provide care, support in knowledge development, and in social contexts.

You will collaborate closely with class teachers and after-school staff and receive support from the school's student health team. Part of the role may involve working in the school's after-school activities.

Qualifications and Merits

Basic requirements for the position:

• Childcare worker, assistant nurse, or other suitable education.
• Preferably knowledge and experience working with children who need special support.
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.

Personal qualities:

• Relationship-building and a strong student focus are crucial for this role.
• Responsible, flexible, and able to see opportunities in difficult situations.
• Excellent teamwork skills.

Merits:

• Knowledge and experience regarding NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
• Knowledge and experience regarding epilepsy and/or diabetes.

Employment Terms

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 3–6 months, start date: 2026-08-03, end date: 2026-12-18.
• Working hours: Daytime.
