Resource Persons for Preschools in Vansbro Municipality

We are looking for two dedicated resource persons for our preschools in the municipality. The role involves working closely with one child each who requires special support.

As a resource person in the preschool, you will become an important part of the work team and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and developmental environment for all children. The assignment involves providing individual support to a child during the day, while also participating in the regular activities based on the preschool curriculum.

You will, among other things:

• provide support to children with special needs in daily operations
• ensure the child's care, safety, and well-being
• handle tube feeding if necessary (training and introduction are provided)
• monitor and manage blood sugar levels via digital tools and assist with insulin administration according to instructions
• support the child during meals, play, and physical activity
• collaborate closely with colleagues and maintain contact with guardians
• always keep the child's best interests in focus.

You must:

• have education as a childcare worker, youth leader, or other relevant experience working with children.

A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record must be presented prior to employment.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience working in preschool or school
• knowledge of or experience with tube feeding and/or diabetes
• relevant education within healthcare or pedagogy.
