Your responsibilities

As a primary school teacher in the Municipality of Leksand, you work pedagogically and socially based on the operation's goals and guidelines as well as current regulatory documents. You are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching and work to promote the students' learning and development. You are well-versed in systematic quality work and are attuned to the demands and changes that need to be handled within the profession.

You will work as a class teacher in grades 1–3 of primary school. The teaching responsibilities for the position are shaped based on the operation's needs, your subject qualifications, and pedagogical professional experience. Your duties include class/mentorship, collaborative work in various forums, communication and collaboration with guardians as well as other schools and authorities. Together with your colleagues, you will participate in various development projects focusing on teaching quality and increased goal fulfillment.

It may happen that you also teach at another school in the principal's district.

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher.

About the workplace

Tällberg School is a grades F–6 school with an after-school center, beautifully located in Tällberg, approx. 1.5 miles outside central Leksand, with proximity to a rich nature and cultural life. The school has three work teams – grades F–3, grades 4–6, and the After-school Center. Collaboration for pedagogical development is central, and the principal's district also includes Ullvi, Siljansnäs, and Gärde schools as collaboration partners to enable rich collaborative learning. In addition, Leksand schools collaborate continuously on various targeted competence development initiatives. The primary schools in the Municipality of Leksand work with lifelong learning in safe environments.
