Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher in Art combined with another subject. The teaching in Art takes place in grades 6–9, where you will be part of secure and stable teaching and subject teams.

At our school, you will have mentorship responsibility for a few students in the grade to share the responsibility with colleagues for the entire grade level. The mentorship will be in one of the grades 7–9.

You are also an important part of the subject team, where you, together with your subject colleagues, are responsible for the teaching in Art and the development of the subject.

Every week, you will meet with your colleagues in the teaching and subject teams within the framework of your working hours, focusing on common collegial work. This provides good conditions for our development work and the planning of teaching.

Your task is to help students meet the knowledge requirements based on the curriculum within clear frameworks. This also includes standard documentation, contact with homes, and other school development work.

In addition to your closest colleagues, you have support from special needs teachers, special educators, social pedagogues, career guidance counselors (SYV), school counselors, and school management. You will always have colleagues and support functions close by.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Basic teacher education with eligibility in Art and another subject for primary school.
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who is structured, flexible, and positive. You have good collaboration skills, are solution-focused, result-oriented, and proactive, with a good ability to build relationships and communicate.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Licens in another subject.
• Special educational competence.
