Description

The Adapted Primary School in Mora has approximately 40 students and is located at Noretskolan and Morkarlbyhöjdens skola. Grades 1-3 have premises in a separate building at Morkarlbyhöjdens skola, while grades 4-9 have their premises at Noretskolan. We have two after-school centers.

Responsibilities

As a Pedagogical Resource at the Adapted Primary School in Mora, you work based on each student's needs, prerequisites, interests, and development. You meet students with various functional variations throughout the school day and at the after-school center. You provide support in learning and care to ensure the day runs smoothly and contribute to making time at the after-school center meaningful and filled with fun activities.

Qualifications

• You have upper secondary education.
• You have previous experience working at an adapted primary school.
• You have experience working with children and/or young people with intellectual disabilities and/or multiple disabilities.
• You have experience working with children and/or young people with autism.
• You have good knowledge and experience within Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD/NPF).
• You have the ability to build safe relationships.
• You master the Swedish language both in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Previous experience working at an adapted primary school.
• Knowledge and experience in using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), visual supports, and other compensatory aids, as well as using digital learning tools.
• A relational, sensitive, and clear pedagogical leadership style with the ability to motivate and create learning environments focused on inclusion and student influence.

Driver's license for passenger car.
