Arena Utbildning is growing and is now looking for a Care and Nursing Teacher for our Childcare and Leisure program with a focus on Support Assistant, located in our Gothenburg facility.

Arena Utbildning is an education company that provides adult education on behalf of over 70 municipalities, the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), University Colleges, as well as private companies and employers. We tailor our courses to match specific labor market needs. We offer a wide range of educational programs, including vocational training in Care and Nursing, Childcare and Leisure, Warehousing and Logistics, Hotel and Tourism, Dental Hygiene, as well as Swedish for Immigrants, basic, and upper secondary theoretical courses.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with motivated students, several of whom have international backgrounds. You will work flexibly and creatively with a high degree of autonomy, contributing to the development of the education program. You will collaborate closely with Childcare and Leisure teachers and special needs pedagogues who support students with specific requirements. The role involves planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching based on regulatory documents and student needs.

You will be part of a dedicated team working to ensure students enter the workforce after completing their education. You will be involved in organizing and developing the curriculum. You will also maintain continuous contact with workplace learning (APL) sites and the business community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Care Teacher or Vocational Teacher.

Merits:

• Computer literacy and experience working with digital learning platforms.
• Experience in adult education and teaching students whose native language is not Swedish is a plus.
