Description

We are currently looking for a certified F-3 teacher (grades Pre-3) for a permanent full-time position at Arbrå School. You will serve as a class teacher (mentor) for Year 2, supported by a class resource teacher. As a teacher here, there will also be an opportunity in the autumn to apply for a role as a Lead Teacher in Swedish. In this role, you will work together with the school management to drive the school's systematic quality work and lead subject conferences for your colleagues to develop the teaching of Swedish across the entire school (Grades F-9).

Arbrå School is a F-9 school with approximately 300 students spread across two buildings – the Yellow House, which houses Pre-1 and the after-school center, and the White House, where Years 2–9 are located. Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you will teach in grades F–3. You are responsible for planning, conducting, evaluating, and analyzing teaching in accordance with the curriculum and current regulatory documents.

You work to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every student is given the conditions to develop based on their individual needs and prerequisites. Through collaboration with other staff at the school, you contribute to the school's development and advocate for a good environment for both students and employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher with eligibility to teach in grades F–3.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability, the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, as well as being a secure and positive role model. Since you will be part of a work team, we see that you are a person with good collaboration skills, a high sense of responsibility, and a commitment to students' learning and development. You also have the ability to adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. It is an advantage if you have previously worked based on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS/PBS).
