In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Digital development has long been a natural part of our operations, and every student has access to their own computer as support in teaching. Gullhedskolan is a school for grades F-6 with a leisure center and currently has just over 230 students. The school is located in the center of Järbo and is close to the library, the forest, the football field, and the hockey rink. The school focuses on the importance of movement and has a nice schoolyard that offers and invites to movement. There are several different types of movement tracks and planned break activities led by the school's educators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in grade 5 with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching according to the school's steering documents. The assignment involves creating an accessible learning environment where students' curiosity and desire to learn are valued.

You contribute by:

• Stimulating students' development and learning based on their individual needs
• Creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Being a clear and secure role model for the students
• Actively working for an inclusive and safe school environment
• Collaborating in the work team to develop teaching

• Sharing knowledge and experiences in collegial forums
• Strengthening each other in daily work
• Having an open and solution-focused approach
• Working with the student at the center

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students absorb knowledge in different ways. You are good at building trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and accessible learning environment. Sensitivity and teamwork skills are important qualities in collegial work, where teaching is developed together. A structured working method facilitates planning and follow-up, while flexibility allows you to handle changed needs and see opportunities in new situations. An inclusive approach permeates your work and creates good conditions for all students.

For the assignment, the following are required:

• Teacher certification with eligibility for teaching in grades 4-6
• Good knowledge of the primary school's steering documents
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing

Good IT competence and experience using digital tools are meritorious.
