Bergsjö School is looking for a teacher for grades 4-6

At Bergsjö School, we work to ensure every student succeeds – not by chance, but through clear leadership, strong relationships, and a shared drive to develop our teaching. We are now looking for an engaged teacher who wants to help shape the school of the future together with us.

About the position

You will teach in grades 4-6 and be part of a dedicated work team where you collaborate closely with your nearest colleagues to create structure, security, and higher goal achievement for the students.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified teacher for grades 4-6
• Have a strong interest in teaching development and collaboration
• Want to work in a systematic and professional learning climate
• Are confident in your role as a teacher and believe in every student's ability to succeed
• Preferably have experience leading development work (for lead teacher roles)

About Bergsjö School

We are a grades F-9 school in the heart of Nordanstig, with approximately 450 students. The Adapted School 1-10 also operates in the same premises. Here, you will meet a high level of commitment among the staff and a clear ambition to make a difference – every day.

Nordanstig Municipality consists of several schools with a total of approximately 900 students, sharing a common upper secondary level at Bergsjö. Together, we work for higher goal achievement and a more equitable school system. SPSM, Mid Sweden University, and RUC-X are some of the partners we collaborate with to achieve this.

We work for equity and equal conditions between the schools in the municipality, as all students meet at Bergsjö School's upper secondary level. We work to ensure smooth transitions and a reflective environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop and achieve good results.
