Description

Arbrå School is now looking for a certified F-3 teacher for a permanent position. During the upcoming academic year, you will strengthen the teaching in mathematics and Swedish in year 1 and year 2. The school has one year 1 class and two year 2 classes.

Arbrå School is an F-9 school with approximately 300 students spread across two buildings – the Yellow House, which houses F-1 and the after-school center, and the White House, where years 2–9 are located. Arbrå School is a learning organization with a positive work climate and competent teams focused on teaching. All staff work based on Positive Behavioral Support (PBS), with the goal of increasing well-being and school motivation for all students. Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you will teach in years F–3 with main subjects in Swedish and mathematics. You are responsible for planning, conducting, evaluating, and analyzing teaching in accordance with the curriculum and current guidelines.

You work to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every student is given the conditions to develop based on their individual needs and prerequisites. Through collaboration with other staff at the school, you contribute to the school's development and work for a good environment for both students and employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher with the qualification to teach in years F–3, with qualifications in Swedish and mathematics.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability, the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, as well as being a secure and positive role model. As you will be part of a work team, we see that you are a person with good cooperation skills, a high sense of responsibility, and a commitment to students' learning and development. You also have the ability to adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. It is an advantage if you have previously worked based on Positive Behavioral Support (PBS).
