About the workplace

We are now looking for a new colleague for a fixed-term position. We are looking for you who are interested in working within the authority's implementation of the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The unit handles LSS cases and includes a Preventive Team. The unit is led by a Unit Manager.

Your tasks

As an LSS case worker, you will work with investigating, assessing, making decisions, and following up on measures. The work is based on a holistic perspective of the individual, with their needs at the center, often in collaboration with relatives, care providers, healthcare, other authorities, and partners. You will meet users through home visits and office visits. You will have your own cases. You work in a legally secure manner based on current legislation, existing regulations, guidelines, routines, and instructions.

Qualifications

We primarily seek you who have a degree in Social Work, but some equivalent higher education degrees that the employer deems suitable may also qualify. You understand the importance of legally secure and efficient case handling, ensuring the individual's right to good living conditions, of course taking into account self-determination and integrity from the user's perspective.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and assume that you collaborate well with others, both relatives and providers and colleagues. You have a respectful attitude and good analytical skills, care about legal security, and are good at expressing yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. As a person, you enjoy working independently, are structured, and have a solution-focused approach.

Håbo Municipality is a Swedish-speaking area with a Finnish-speaking minority, so knowledge of Finnish is meritorious.
