Vendelvägen is centrally located in Örbyhus, just a 10-minute walk from the train station, offering excellent commuting opportunities.

Vendelvägen is a PK1 residence. There are 6 residents living with us.

As a Housing Support Worker, you will work to offer a meaningful and predictable daily life with a high degree of structure for those living with us. We work goal-oriented based on the assignment plan, maintaining a professional and salutogenic approach while working within the organization's resources and budget.

We adapt our work based on each individual's conditions and needs, with the starting point being the individual's personal implementation plan. Our goal is for users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in using their own resources to develop and achieve a good quality of life. Our approach involves low-affective interaction and clear, understandable pedagogy.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in a listening manner, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills and experience with documentation.
• Experience and knowledge of the target group within LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
• Upper secondary education, e.g., Child and Youth Program or Care and Nursing Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or higher education in a relevant field.
• Valid driver's license.

Meritorious if you additionally have:

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective interaction.

Employment Terms

Employment Type: Permanent or fixed-term (as agreed)
Work Hours: Rotating schedule. Day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call duties are included.
Start Date: As agreed. We view it positively if you can start soon.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement of Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
