About the Social Services Administration

At the Social Services Administration in Enköping Municipality, we work together to help residents of Enköping who are in difficult and vulnerable life situations in various ways.

We have close leadership and are constantly actively working on the development of the organization. As a foundation for our approach, we have chosen Motivational Interviewing (MI) for those we serve. Part of our leadership structure is that we work in cross-teams between departments. With approximately 160 employees in the administration, we have good conditions for effective internal collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a Social Secretary for the second-line investigation, one of our orientation teams that works on investigating recurring concerns for children and young people. The team consists of case workers with different backgrounds and experience – a team that provides good conditions for systematic work and accessible support for families. As a Social Secretary with us, you will:

  • Carry out investigations, such as BBIC investigations, according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU).
  • Work with level-determined investigations and orientation teams according to our working model.
  • Join colleagues at meetings and home visits to ensure safety, quality, and work environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external actors to create holistic solutions for children and families.
  • Provide interventions during the investigation period if needed and collaborate with therapists in the investigation.
  • Contribute to the development of our working methods and the implementation of RBM (Risk, Need, and Responsivity) with a focus on children being involved.

You will receive support from the team leader, colleagues, and a comprehensive introduction program. We also offer internal training and mentoring for new employees.

Your Qualifications

We believe you have:

  • Good ability to make structured and legally secure assessments.
  • Ability to work independently with investigation processes according to SoL and LVU.
  • Good collaboration skills in cross-professional teams.
  • Very good communication skills in speech and writing.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and drive cases forward in a sustainable way.

Meritorious experience also includes:

  • Experience in investigation work within children and young people.
  • Experience with MI or other structured conversation support.
  • Experience working within the social services' authority exercise.

Employment Information

Requirements:

  • Social Work degree (Social Worker/Socionom).
  • Experience in conducting BBIC investigations.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.

Duration: Start date 2026-09-01, end date 2027-01-31.
