We are currently looking for a teacher for our Student/Teacher Assistant education, which is conducted digitally, as well as for general courses held on-site in Hjo. The subject competencies we are primarily seeking are Social Studies and History, along with experience of various forms of support teaching in schools at different levels.

Responsibilities

You will plan and teach general courses at Hjo Folk High School in the thematic studies offered, as well as in the Student/Teacher Assistant education. The teaching is based on the needs, level, and wishes of both the individual and the group. Therefore, the position requires creativity and the ability to adapt methods and content in the teaching.

As a teacher at the Folk High School, you are part of the school's entire operation and are given the opportunity to contribute to the school's joint activities and development with your unique experiences and competencies.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Folk High School Teacher's degree with adequate subject competence or a teacher's degree at the upper secondary level or equivalent. Furthermore, you are flexible, innovative, and have good collaborative skills, as well as being good at planning and organizing your work. You are an engaged and motivating educator and role model. Experience in driving or leading projects is meritorious. Likewise, experience or competence in special education is meritorious.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment with a start date of 2026-08-10 or as agreed. The position is full-time.
