You will step into an airport operations environment where data is key to improving the passenger experience and streamlining flows, processes, and decision-making. The team is responsible for a data and analytics platform that aggregates information from business-critical systems, while simultaneously migrating reports and data solutions to a modern platform based on Azure Databricks and dbt.

Here, you will work on both new development and further development in an environment where a modern data platform meets established BI solutions. This makes the role particularly interesting for you who want to combine hands-on development, platform understanding, and close dialogue with the business.

• You build new data solutions in Azure Databricks and dbt, from data contracts and development to automated testing and delivery to the business.
• You maintain and further develop existing solutions in both the new platform and older environments, including SQL Server on-prem and Azure SQL.
• You develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI based on business needs.
• You drive your work forward in an agile team and contribute to planning, estimation, and dialogue with the business.
• You help translate business requirements into robust and scalable data solutions and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Developer within Business Intelligence.
• Documented experience in database development using SQL in complex system environments.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Experience working with dbt.
• Experience working in SQL Server on-prem and cloud-based solutions in Azure.
• Experience working in Power BI.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
• Experience with modeling according to Kimball or Inmon.
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted).

• Experience in design and solution architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD processes for report distribution.
• Experience with Medallion Architecture (bronze, silver, gold) or equivalent.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with automated testing and data quality controls.
• Experience with DevOps principles.
• Experience with data governance and security in the cloud.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep, as well as Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Experience from larger organizations.
• Experience from the aviation industry.
