Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with a focus on Java for a long-term consultancy assignment involving the development and maintenance of a system of societal importance. You will work closely with the business operations and various specialist functions, as well as collaborate with other roles within the IT department. The assignment covers the entire development process – from analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance.

The assignment involves working with technologies such as:

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Angular
  • TypeScript
  • REST API
  • Oracle SQL
  • OpenShift
  • GitOps
  • Tekton
  • ArgoCD
  • Kibana/Elastic

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain existing support systems
  • Develop new solutions based on business needs and the Swedish Public Employment Service's technical platforms
  • Contribute technical solution proposals and architectural considerations
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and debugging
  • Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with business representatives and cross-functional teams

The assignment requires a structured work approach, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in IT, equivalent to a Systems Scientist or Civil Engineer
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in Java development
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Spring Boot
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Angular and TypeScript
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with REST APIs
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Oracle SQL
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with OpenShift
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with GitOps
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: Tekton, ArgoCD, and Kibana/Elastic
  • Experience with incident management
  • Experience developing or maintaining systems for the preservation of public records

  • Scope: 100%
  • Location: Stockholm
  • Work format: Hybrid, up to 49% remote work
  • Assignment period: 2026-09-01 – 2027-08-31
  • Extension option: Yes, up to 1 year
