We are currently looking for a Technical Specialist/Project Manager within Mobile Mapping for our client, Ramboll, in Malmö.

You will join our business area Road Survey Technology (RST), which comprises approximately 100 people and a large fleet of measurement systems for data collection. We operate on an international market where you will have the opportunity to work on projects with great variety. The position is flexible regarding location, but you will be part of a team of 6 people based in Malmö.

At Ramboll, we aim to expand our portfolio of measurement services related to Mobile Mapping. As a foundation for this business, Ramboll holds a major contract in Sweden covering over 30,000 km of roads per year for the next three years. Ramboll initially has two mobile mapping measurement systems, which also include equipment for road surface measurement within the same assignments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and executing assignments, from data collection to finished product.
• Develop and streamline workflows for primary processing, georeferencing, and matching of laser data.
• Monitor the processing of point cloud data and 360-degree images, as well as perform system calibration.
• Actively participate in bidding processes and maintain dialogue with clients, suppliers, and internal development teams.
• Create new services and applications related to the use of point cloud data for inventory and measurement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within civil engineering and surveying technology/geodesy, specifically in laser scanning.
• Good knowledge of workflows for mobile laser scanning. Experience with TerraSolid software is highly advantageous.
• Experience in the role of project manager or assignment manager is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• You are analytical, structured, and have a strong focus on quality with an eye for both details and the big picture.
• Surveying technical competence is considered a plus.
