About the Job

We are now looking for an IT Architect for the System Management Unit. The System Management Unit consists of IT architects, specialists, and various support functions working on IT solutions for needs within Sweden's common infrastructure. Our unit works in several areas and supports the entire authority. As an IT Architect, you work on designing solution architecture based on business needs and contribute to creating robust and secure digital solutions for socially critical operations. The job involves working in close collaboration with different competencies and stakeholders where you contribute strategic and technical competence in IT architecture. You work closely with the business in various forms of investigations, analyses, and pre-studies to identify needs and define future development. The job involves translating business needs into sustainable and secure architectural solutions.

Examples of tasks:

• Design solution architecture based on business needs
• Design IT architecture for applications with high requirements for security and robustness
• Work with solution architecture based on microservices in container-based infrastructure
• Communicate and document IT architecture using established frameworks, models, and techniques
• Collaborate with various internal and external actors within IT architecture
• Participate in or conduct investigations and prepare background material and solution proposals within IT architecture

About You

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experiences:

Experiences and Knowledge - Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a solution architect according to IASA's model
• At least 5 years of experience working on designing solution architecture based on business needs
• At least 5 years of experience designing IT architecture for applications with high requirements for security and robustness
• Experience designing solution architecture based on microservices in a container-based infrastructure
• Good knowledge of common frameworks, models, and techniques for working with and communicating IT architecture

Experiences and Knowledge - Meritorious

• Experience participating in collaboration assignments and collaborating with other organizations within IT architecture
• Experience participating in or conducting investigations and reporting background material and solution proposals within IT architecture
• Certification as an IT architect from, for example, Dataföreningen or IASA
• Knowledge within digital identities and access management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT security

Digg and PTS form a common authority

The Government has decided that Digg and the Post and Telecommunications Authority (PTS) will merge into a common authority from January 1, 2027.

The purpose is to strengthen Sweden's digitalization by bringing together our competencies in areas such as digital infrastructure, data, and AI in one and the same organization. The common authority will have a broader mandate and better conditions to contribute to a more cohesive digital society.
