About the position

We are currently looking for a special needs teacher/teacher with special educational needs competence for Forsenskolan in Tidaholm Municipality. Here, we collaborate closely in work teams and contribute to each other's learning by sharing experiences, good examples, and pedagogical ideas. You will become part of a collegium where high expectations, collaboration, and collegial learning are at the center.

As a special needs teacher, you will also be part of a development group within the school area focusing on special education. You will also collaborate with the municipality's other special needs teachers and special educational needs coordinators.

Forsenskolan is centrally located in Tidaholm and serves students aged 6–12 years, as well as those in adapted comprehensive school. The school is located in close proximity to both a swimming hall and a sports hall. Approximately 440 students attend the school, and we have around 80 employees.

The school and after-school center have a playground that invites play and movement, and we actively work to create joy in movement through active breaks for all ages. Our pedagogical approach is based on meeting each student based on their unique prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are:

• a trained special needs teacher, or
• a trained teacher with eligibility to teach in grades 4–6 and a strong interest in special education.

We see that you have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and wish to contribute to developing the pedagogical work at Forsenskolan. You are good at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

As a pedagogue, you are a clear leader in the classroom and create structure through clear communication regarding goals and results. You are proactive, engaged, and actively contribute to the school's development work.
