About the Role

Do you want to make a real difference to help Sweden succeed in the energy transition and meet climate goals? This is an exciting and important role where, as a Project Controller, you will support the investment operations with financial management and monitoring.

You will join the Project Controlling department, which consists of 12 people, including 8 Project Controllers. You will have a central role in the work with financial management, monitoring, and reporting of our infrastructure investments. The role is broad and varied. You will become part of a program organization with a very large number of projects, where you are responsible for the financial aspects of the operations.

In close collaboration with your colleagues, program managers, project managers, and other functions within the business, you ensure that financial reporting is of high quality and provides the right support for management and decision-making. The role also involves identifying deviations, analyzing outcomes, and contributing improvement proposals for processes and working methods.

There are good opportunities to influence and develop the role based on your competence, interests, and the business's needs. The tasks are varied and include both ongoing monitoring and more analytical and investigative assignments.

Your Main Responsibilities

The position is broad and varied, but your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support program managers in investment planning and forecasting
  • Support project managers with financial structure and monitoring in large projects
  • Perform and develop investment monitoring
  • Lead or participate in development activities
  • Monitor ongoing projects and ensure financial closure of projects
  • Ad-hoc analyses/tasks
  • Conduct training within your area of expertise
  • Continuously support investment operations with financial matters

Requirements

Having a pedagogical approach and the ability to communicate results and analyses to different types of recipients is important for the role.

Background

  • Academic degree in Economics
  • At least 3 years of experience in project controlling or similar tasks
  • Very good Excel skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and good English proficiency
  • Business-minded thinking

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience with infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience in developing AI solutions
